The punishment of a Class A Misdemeanor typically consists of confinement to the county jail for a term of up to one year and/or a fine not to exceed $4,000. Some common Class A Misdemeanor crimes include a second DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) charge, an assault charge, the burglary of a vehicle, and the unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Does any class of Misdemeanor ever come off your record? What if there is a criminal Traffic offense of speeding 90 in a 75.. is that a misdemeanor in the state of AZ and if so is it ever removed or do you live with that your whole life?

I have received two class B misdemeanor charges on me over a couple of checks i wrote that I didnt have the money in the bank to cover. Well It happened in march of 2008. I had no idea about writing checks it was my first check book i had ever had. I knew people could over draw there account and put money back into it to cover it. Well my checks got sent to the DA. I wanted to know how to get these off my record. I have never done anything wrong my record was clean until that.

i recieved a class A misdemeanor for selling alcohol to a minor. It was a T.A.B.C. sting. I have had a felony before but not drug or alcohol related. I completed my parole 3 years ago. Will this have an affect on the outcome of my situation?

hello, I made a facebook about someone else (jokingly) and they found out, the cop at my school said they could charge me with a class A misdemeanor for “identity theft” i wasnt using it to steal information or money, just to make fun of him, is this bad, what do you think the outcome will be?

What I know at least in the state of Texas is that any petit offenses committed by minors ( under 18 yrs old) wont be displayed in his record once turn 18 yrs old is like if the file got locked and like if the offense never existed.

to Andrew> the elements of a crime are Actus Reus ( criminal act), Mens Rea ( gulty mind) causation and the harm you produce to victim, even u might not did it with other intention more than make fun of your friend or classmate or whatever she/he is , at the moment you took other’s personal information with out their consense that fact is the crime, so be carefull, I really wish they dont press charges against you and hopefully you learn the lesson Son. while at the movies a woman kicked my car i got out and confronted the woman that kicked my car. she started crying and yelling at me stating that she called 911 for help. My husband recently got into an altercation with our neighbor (starting with my neighbor texting my husband threating him) and my husband hit him. The neighbor pressed charges on him. My husband had charges put on him when he was a minor but was told that would come off his record when he turned 18. So what are we looking at now. Ive been charged with a class D felony for a charge of theft, of which i am not guilt of. I believe the prosecutor knows it too, other wise they would have not offered me a plea bargain of, “class a with probation, and restitution.” should i take this plea or ask for a class b. I would obviously like to be vindicated but do not have much hope… I remodeled a house for an old landlord and was given the contents of the home to pay me for my work and no deposit plus 2 months rent, now only to be charged with stealing my own appliances and her crappy ones. I have witnesses to these things and happenings. It has been my experience that things never work out very well with the court systems, and even if your innocent… you are ultimately guilty until proven innocent. I have a public defender but do not have much faith in him or this judicial system. What is your opinion on this matter?

hi i have a boyfriend that is in jail that has a case with four class b misdemeanor charges for theft. right now he currently has a bond, but cannot get him out cause i cannot afford it, he goes to see the judge soon and i was just wondering what he charge could be. he does have a felony on his record, i dont know much about the law so if you can let me know what u think i would be happy.

i found out i have had a M1-Misdemeanor-group A? what does that mean, I cant tell you what its for ?possibley city came in onthe house during some major cleaning ,and i wasnt able to convince a mother that she neede to keep her son for a while till i clean it up. but she insited and they came that am and removed my 17 old and the 4year old. both were find and not near part of house being worked on but they took them anyway..

Can I leave the state of Texas, if I have been arrested for wreck less driving? I have been waiting for over a year to go to court. I am returning to school, in New Mexico does this violate a bond? I was released on bond and paid an attorney’s retainer fee. Could I get arrested for leaving or can I just call them and tell them where I want to go and the reasoning behind it?

I received a minor consumption ticket and a class A misdemenor for giving false information. I have not yet set a court date, but I am returning to school in a couple weeks and nervous about what is going to happen to me. Can I get jail time if this is my first offense?
